- - On the 7th-14th of August the proseminar of Advanced Certificate Program: Research Ethics in Central and Eastern Europe was held by the Department of Medical History and Ethics in Vilnius, Lithuania.
- - In April the article ,,Does the ,,new philosophy” in predictive, preventive and personalized medicine require new ethics?” co-authored by E. Gefenas, A. Cekanauskaite, E. Tuzaite, V. Dranseika and D. Characiejus was published in the EPMA journal. Download the article here.
- - On the 24th- 25th of March the conference for Lithuanian history of science and philosophy of science ,,SCIENTIA ET HISTORIA – 2011″ took place in the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute. Doctoral students I.Paukštytė and A.Žalnora attended the conference and presented the papers: I. Paukštytė – ,,The development of ethical and legal regulations for biomedical research on human subjects in Lithuania”; A.Žalnora – ,,J.Talko-Hryncewicz and the department of anthropology in the Stephen Bathory University’s medical faculty, 1920″.
