- On the 7th-8th of December dr. Aistis Žalnora attended the international scientific  conference “The (para)medical discourse – genres, functions, transformations” in Wroclaw, Poland and presented the paper ,,Kursy ratownictwa sanitarnego w Wilnie w okresie międzywojennym”.

- On the 1st of December doc. dr. Vitalija Miežutavičiūtė and dr. Aistis Žalnora attended the scientific-practical conference “Health and Coherence for Everybody”.

- On the 1st of December dr. Asta Čekanauskaitė, dr. Margarita Poškutė, Vilma Lukaševičienė and Natalija Fiodorova attended the international scientific conference “Diplomats for Life: The 2nd Baltic Sea Symposium on Simulation and Virtual Reality for Education in Health Care and Patient Safety” in Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.

- On the 16th – 17th of October Natalija Fiodorova, prof. Eugenijus Gefenas, dr. Asta Čekanavičiūtė, Vilma Lukaševičienė and Jūratė Lekstutienė presented the paper “Interaction between research ethics and research integrity: overview and analysis of situation in Lithuania and Finland” at the international scientific conference “Shaping Ethics in Academia and Society: Practices in the Baltic Sea Region” at Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania). - On the 6th of October prof. Eugenijus Gefenas and Natalija Fiodorova attendend a workshop “Ethics of Obesity Prevention:  Spotlight on Central and Eastern Europe” in Tubingen (Germany) and presented a paper “Lithuanian perspective on ethical challenges of obesity prevention”.   • - On the 21st-22nd of September dr. Aistis Žalnora participated in the scientific conference “Czystość i brud. Higiena między wielkimi wojnami (1918 – 1939)” (Cleanliness and dirt. Hygiene between world wars (1918 – 1939)) in Bydgoszcz (Poland) and presented the paper “Rozwój nauk o odżywianiu w Wilnie w latach 1922 – 1939”. Click here for a programme.
  • - On the 14th of September Natalija Fiodorova participated in the scientific-practical conference “Organ Donation: Duty or Gift?” at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
  • - On the 24th – 26th of May the Department of Medical History and Ethics together with the Clarkson University (USA) organised Study Visit of alumnus of the Advanced Certificate Program: Research Ethics in Eastern and Central Europe in Vilnius. Programme can be found here.
  • - On the 17th-19th of May prf. Eugenijus Gefenas participated in the European Congress of Research Ethics Committees “The future of Research Ethics Committees in Europe: Creating the way to innovation”. Programme can be found here.
  • - On the 28th of April – the 1st of June dr. Aistis Žalnora under Erasmus Mundus Medea staff mobility for teaching gave lecture series on history of medicine in Yerevan Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University (Armenia).
  • - On the 26th of April Aistis Žalnora gave a lecture “Mental hygiene and eugenics ideas in the interwar Lithuania” at the Faculty of History of Vilnius University . This lecture was a part of lecture series “Colloquia Historica: Disabled people, Society and Medicine in Lithuania (18–20 c.)”.
  • - On the 12th of April dr. Aistis Žalnora attended the conference “The vision of the future: a healthy environment for children” and presented a paper “School Environment and Child Health in Vilnius Hygienist Works in 1922 – 1939”.
  • - On the 3rd of February – the 19th of March dr. Aistis Žalnora participated in the exhibition Citynature: Vilnius and Beyond” (National Gallery of Art). The exhibition was a showcase for art and scientific research which reflected the city not solely as a man-made creation, but rather as an ecosystem where human activity is in a constant interplay with processes of both an animate and inanimate nature.
